The AYM SV Volleyball Tournament - May 2025 is cancelled.

Due to varying student obligations and circumstances, we are short on teams for this month's tournament. Therefore, we will cancel this tournament.

Instead, we will be hosting a volleyball open gym with snacks and light refreshments. We will still have refs and line judges available for these games.

Feel free to invite your other friends to join for a chill sports time!

Area Youth Ministry (AYM for short - a non-profit Christian youth organization) will be hosting a 6-on-6 volleyball tournament (spots are limited, first come, first serve).

Who: Open to all high school students

Date: Sunday 5/18

Time: 3:00PM - 5:30PM

Location: Independence HS - 629 N Jackson Ave, San Jose, CA 95133

Cost: FREE

Signups:

1. You can sign up your whole squad (6-10 per team)
2. OR you sign up individually as a free agent or with a partial team and we will try and plug you in

This event will include:

1. Indoor courts
2. 6-on-6 coed volleyball tournament (Requires at least one male and one female on the court at all times)
3. $10 gift card for each member of the winning team

Overall schedule will be (time subject to change):

1. Check-in/registration: 2:45PM
2. Intro: 3:00PM
3. Games: 3:15PM - 5:20PM
4. Final Announcements 5:20PM

Rules/Etiquette:

1. No profanity
2. Loss of temper
3. Respect the referees
4. Respect the other players

If you break these rules/etiquette, a warning will be issued followed by a dismissal.
